Providence is calling a Supervisor - Rx Supply Chain Analytics - PSJH to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Supervisor - Rx Supply Chain Analytics – PSJH to be responsible for creating and managing analytical solutions and support for the pharmacy business groups across the organization by providing consistent and meaningful financial and supply information, reporting, and analysis related to pharmaceuticals. Oversees and fosters the continuous improvement in the management of Providence’s pharmaceutical supply chain. This position provides systematic business and technical support to key Providence pharmacy decision-making bodies by creating and supporting sophisticated automation and programming applications. The Supervisor - Rx Analytics builds and supports processes to manage and manipulate large sets of complex data, and facilitates business discussions to ensure analytic needs are met. Projects are data driven and involve quantitative analysis, together with qualitative factors.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of pharmaceutical supply chain analytics, developing complex pharmaceutical supply chain data sets to identify optimal decision outcomes in the Rx supply chain management contract negotiation process, as well as optimization of order points and quantities.

  • Makes Recommendations leads presentations of findings and coordinates stakeholders toward consensus.

  • Manages the development of value added reporting utilizing Excel, Access, Hyperion, Lawson, and other reporting tools, automating where appropriate.

  • Creates, manages and executes a process of data standardization to improve the integrity of the data.

  • Makes recommendations on and socializes opportunities for improved systems and data analysis within Providence St. Joseph Health.

  • Manages documentation process for data collection and reporting processes.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • 5 years’ experience advanced data collection and analysis, including experience in pharmacy supply chain.
