Providence Health & Services Senior Workers Compensation Consultant - PSJH in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Workers Compensation Consultant to one of the following locations: Irvine CA, Lubbock TX, Portland OR, Beaverton OR, Seattle WA, Renton WA, Everett WA, Olympia WA, Spokane WA, Richland WA, Missoula MT, Anchorage AK, Burbank CA, Anaheim CA or Torrance CA.
We are seeking a Workers Compensation Consultant, Senior to provide strategic workers compensation consultation services to all levels of the assigned organization. Ensure that the workers compensation program minimizes costs, provides appropriate benefits, limits disruptions to daily operations of the organization due to time loss, and complies with all associated laws and regulations. Manage the relationship and service delivery with the Workers’ Compensation (WC) Third Party Administrator (TPA).

Keep abreast of changing legal regulations regarding workers compensation in a multi-state environment

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, health care or related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Five (5) years’ demonstrated work experience in Workers Compensation, absence and disability management and early return-to-work preferably in an employer hospital setting.
Experience in settlement negotiation and mediation of high exposure workers’ compensation cases involving complex medical issues and employment matters.
Planning and project management skills.
Ability to set technology strategy.
Demonstrated management skills and ability to work effectively to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and executive management through positive interaction.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- CRC, CDMS, CPDM, or WC Claim Examiner certification
