Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Project Manager Telehealth PSJH to our location in Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Renton, WA or Spokane, WA.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our enterprise telehealth team that helps transform patient care to be more accessible, convenient and affordable for the communities we serve. This individual will be accountable for managing multiple large and/or complex projects which include the implementation and launch of enterprise telehealth services – such as TeleStroke, TelePsychiatry, TeleHospitalist & TeleICU – in internal and external customer sites, as well as managing internal projects for the central telehealth team. This individual leads all aspects of projects, partnering closely with leaders at each customer site and enterprise telehealth colleagues critical to successful implementation (such as sales & account management, clinical operations, field engineering, and other operational functions).
The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are planned, managed and executed in a manner that satisfies customers and meets their expectations. He/she will assemble implementation teams and manage the activities the teams are responsible to deliver, anticipating potential challenges, helping to remove barriers and escalating issues when needed. Acting as the customer’s primary point of contact for the implementation, the Senior Project Manager effectively monitors, documents and communicates status and progress. He/she is skilled at using effective communication and change management best practices to ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the process, as well as prepared and ready for project launch. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager mentors/coaches less experienced members of the team and helps lead continuous improvement of implementation methodologies.

In this position you will:
Actively partner to understand and clarify project needs, contractual obligations and other information necessary to achieve shared objectives and key results.
Take on large, complex projects with a significant scope and strategic value to the organization.
Assess/evaluate the customer organization, key stakeholders and environment(s) to determine and/or confirm scope of work needed for the implementation and readiness for change.
Develop, document and maintain project plans, assemble implementation teams and create an approved schedule. Review and approve project plans authored by less experienced team members.
Manage projects with specific focus on deliverables, tasks, quality standards and due dates. Use strong project management and change management practices.
Maintain regular, two-way communication with all project team members and other stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and a successful implementation. This includes ensuring customer satisfaction through timely follow-up, customer responsiveness, and management of customer expectations.
The Providence St. Joseph Health enterprise telehealth team partners with its customers to develop and implement innovative clinical services that achieve the Quaduple Aim: improved quality and experience for providers and patients at a lower total cost of care.
Required qualifications for this position include:
5 years managing complex projects and/or programs.
Training in project management, change management and process improvement methodologies (e.g. PMP/PMI, Agile, CAP, Workout, Six Sigma, LEAN, CQIA, etc.).
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
7 years managing complex projects and/or experience.
3 years of healthcare industry experience.
1 year of telehealth experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
