Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Manager TA Brand and Marketing PSJH to our location in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Senior Manager TA Brand and Marketing PSJH to provide strategic leadership and consultation to senior leaders on enterprise employment brand strategies, marketing, talent and recruitment strategies, attraction and outreach programs, pipeline development, lead generation / management and candidate experiences that are integrated, effective, and differentiating. This leader sets vision and influences at all levels across a complex organization to have a critical impact on our business and our communities

by promoting our brands within PSJH and positioning us as an employer of choice. The incumbent delivers results through strategic leaders and in partnership with our outsourced vendor(s) overseeing a team of subject matter experts in attraction and marketing, branding, candidate segmentation, content and creative development, social and digital media strategies that attract talent for an organization of 115k caregivers and fill 35k positions a year.

Employment Brand Strategy – Develops brand strategies to create competitive advantage for the organization that aligns to the consumer patient brand strategy, people strategy and business strategy. Creates the employer brand approach and story for multiple brands within a family of brands. Develops and drives career site and social media presence enterprise wide.

Attraction and Recruitment Marketing Strategy – Develops the global enterprise talent attraction, outreach, pipelining and marketing strategies to enable our vendor partner and the hiring of 35k caregivers annually in alignment with the organization's strategic and growth initiatives. Enables strategies to meet the forecasted talent demand of critical talent segments through specialized and targeted recruitment marketing campaigns.

Sourcing and Pipeline Development – Develops proactive strategies to attract and build and support candidate pipelines. •Marketing Insights – Leverages data and market intelligence/research and benchmarking to develop strategies, tactics and execution plans and measurements to achieve results. Measures and monitors source effectiveness, cost of hire, lead generation, career site metrics, media effectiveness, to optimally manager marketing investments .

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing and sourcing professionals to meet hiring objectives.

  • Serve as trusted advisor to business executives and collaborates with leadership stakeholders to ensure areas of accountability are focused successfully on the most critical needs of the organization.

  • Align and support the overall organizational strategy and objectives. Builds, creates, leads and measures robust talent, brand, marketing, and sourcing strategies and business cases based on market dynamics. Partners with a variety of leaders across a wide spectrum inside and outside of the organization to achieve success. Executes on the strategy with well-designed plan with supportive tactics, work steams, actionable activities, resources, timelines, milestones, cost,

  • change management and expected results.

  • Operate in alignment with an integrated talent management, integrated marketing and communications to deliver holistic marketing, brand and sourcing strategies that enable the business to leverage 115,000 caregivers to promote our brands as a competitive advantage.

  • Accountable for setting vision based on changing business needs.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the organization to meet the hiring strategies and priorities.

  • Provide strategic direction, marketing expertise, and counsel to both human resources, marketing and senior management leaders within the organization on a variety of talent acquisition, employer brand and candidate issues.

  • Collaborate with HR leaders to align with HR strategies consistent with business needs.

  • Anticipate emerging talent requirements and proactively develop solutions, programs and marketing strategies to meet them and/or head off critical talent shortages.

  • Identify and build on internal and external practices that are leading edge, scalable, culturally consistent, and forward-thinking.

  • Measure outcomes and provides meaningful and actionable analysis to drive continuous improvement and uses measurements to predict needs and signals course correction.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience.

  • 10 years leading a combination of consumer/customer brands/marketing, or employment brand/recruitment marketing or human resources/talent acquisition functions within a large complex organization. Expertise and experience building brand awareness, leading successful marketing strategies with proven results which mature the department and the organization and achieve results.

  • 8 years leading complex, enterprise wide and global, integrated brand and marketing recruitment initiatives and strategies aligned with organization business strategies within medium to large companies with elements that incorporate some of the following aspects: brand development, integrated marketing, sales/sourcing/lead generation and management, social media, digital media, advertising, events, technology, and data intelligence and insights.

  • Demonstrated success influencing, consulting, and partnering with stakeholders and senior leaders to influence change and gain support for ideas and innovation through business presentations and business cases.

  • Conducted research and developed employee, consumer / customer or product value propositions, brand concepts, expressions and creative asset development for multiple brands.

  • Proven experience, and success in having created, led and measured marketing or brand strategies that build customer or candidate leads.

  • Ability to make connections across multifaceted, complex projects and initiatives where cross-functional alignment, enterprise wide strategic thinking and local execution is needed.

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skill set, ATS, CRM, and data systems.

  • Demonstrated a keen understanding of basic business operations and the organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive profitable growth.

  • Ability to build, create, lead and measure a robust talent and solutions strategy and business cases based on market dynamics and partner with a variety of leaders across a wide spectrum internally, externally, and globally to achieve success.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree.
