Providence Health & Services Senior IS Project Coordinator in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior IS Project Coordinator to Enterprise Information Services in Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to participate in relevant projects, manages minor projects, provides daily support in maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings, producing project reports, and provides other general office support. The Senior Project Coordinator must be effective in time management while dealing with multiple projects and tasks.
In this role, the Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in implementation of projects and programs assigned to the team in a manner that achieves the strategic goals of Providence St. Joseph Health.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Proactively understands and participates in the organization's strategic plans and objectives.
Support activities to influence decisions in order to ensure work towards project objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, vendor, and change management.
Manage small or low complexity project tasks with minimal supervision to no supervision.
Manage small or low complexity projects with minimal supervision.
Create work plans, schedules, and/or task lists for small or low complexity projects or as a part of larger, more complex projects.
Work independently under the direction of a project manager or program manager to oversee portions of large or complex projects.
Define communication plans, work plans, and coordinates the work of project team members and other project/program management professionals.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Project Management, Business, Clinical Operations or Information Technology or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of four (4) years demonstrated work experience in organizing, facilitating, and assisting in planning a project or business/clinical operations.
Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Effective written communication skills as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic to Intermediate understanding of project management methodology and practices.
Basic to intermediate ability to quickly understand and align with department and organization priorities and practices to support the department strategic priorities and goals.
Demonstrated ability to adapt well to changing environment and respond quickly to requests and needs of environment.
Ability to assimilate a wide variety of detail and convey it to appropriate persons for action.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Coursework/Training in Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
