Providence Health & Services Provider Concierge Coordinator - Express Care in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Provider Concierge Coordinator to our location in Renton, WA, Seattle, WA or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Provider Concierge Coordinator to be responsible for collaborating, facilitating, and maintaining key relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful transition for all new Providence Express Care employed providers. Responsibilities of this role are to effectively communicate with providers throughout the onboarding and off boarding process. This may include responding to general questions, identifying and resolving issues, researching and resolving inquires from the providers. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating and/or performing some credentialing and government enrollment functions.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
To implement Providence-wide standard operating procedures into the regional market for the onboarding and off boarding of all employed Providence Express Care providers in the regional markets that you support.
Successfully navigate through the onboarding process that includes, but not limited to:
HR processing coordination with HR Service Center (drug screen, background check, etc.)
Coordinate credentialing with Providence MSO team for delegated payers
Coordinate credentialing with Providence MSO team for non-delegated payers
Coordinate with Providence Licensing & Compliance team for Government program enrollment
Clinic setup (schedule, office, phone, computer, system access)
Orientation (coding education, Providence orientation, compliance training, etc.)
Initiate credentialing & privileging packets, obtain all provider information and signatures.
Coordinate with delegated credentialing committee staff to obtain approval from committee.
Complete entire payer credentialing process for non-delegated payers.
Completes online enrollment in all government programs, including, Medicare and Medicaid. Coordinate submissions with Providence Licensing & Compliance team.
Coordinate the provider departure process for providers. Including timely notification to internal stakeholders when provider and/or Providence give notice of a provider termination. Collaborate with MSO and IT to ensure that provider IT accounts are appropriately maintained through the termination process.
Support with other provider projects as assigned.
License application process for new Clinics.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education is required.
Six (6) years of experience working directly with providers in a clinical setting will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Two years healthcare experience working with providers in a clinic or hospital setting.
Requires knowledge of health care environment, medical office policies and procedures.
Requires basic human resource management practices.
Requires knowledge of payer contracts & credentialing.
