Providence Program Manager, Voice & Outreach in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Program Manager, Voice & Outreach to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Program Manager, Voice & Outreach who will provide messaging production, design, and support to ensure that Advocacy and Social Responsibility (ASR) has an engaging and effective internal and external voice. This role will lead programs and projects focused on internal messaging around caregiver activation, community engagement, and opportunities to "tell our story" and external messaging around our community outreach and impact, governance, and external affairs. This role will support key divisional leaders including the SVP, Advocacy, Engagement & Social Responsibility, the senior Advocacy and Social Responsibility leadership team. These responsibilities primarily reside within the ASR Division, with impact that spans the PSJH organization. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the PSJH Mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/ she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Accountable for supporting any internal messaging-related needs for the ASR Leadership Team. This will entail caregiver activation, advocacy, community engagement, and ongoing opportunities to "tell our story" within Providence.
Accountable for supporting any external messaging-related needs for the ASR Leadership Team. This will entail community outreach and impact, governance-related matters, external affairs, and ongoing opportunities to "tell our story" outside of Providence (including our website and annual report).
Lead our ASR social media work (in partnership with the Providence Social Influencer team) and manage our Sprinklr licenses and the process associated with our social media posts.
Takes initiative to identify, improve, and develop key messaging about division’s work for multiple platforms, including but not limited to talking points, website copy, articles, presentations, reports, collateral, etc.
Creates visuals to communicate key messages and demonstrate the impact of our division’s work.
Produces and designs collateral as needed, including but not limited to Powerpoint presentations, reports, one pagers, etc.
Works closely with the Communications, Creative Services, and Brand teams to ensure alignment with organizational direction and brand guidelines
Demonstrates positive interactions and interpersonal relations in communicating with caregivers at all levels of management and leadership.
Works independently and manages time effectively. Makes informed decisions about where to invest efforts based on established priorities as demonstrated by: completing assignments on time; communicating with customers and supervisors regarding prioritization and target completion dates based on business need or impact.
Actively supports and incorporates the Mission and core values into daily activities. Treat all others with respect and demonstrate excellence, justice and compassion in daily work and relationships with others.
Supports the SVP daily as needed. Partners with administrative staff for complex scheduling needs and supplemental support.
Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
3 years experience in messaging creation and design.
Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups.
Experience supporting executives.
