Providence Program Manager - Lease (REH) in Renton, Washington


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Program Manager - Lease (REH) to our location in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Program Manager - Lease (REH) who will provide strategic and operational guidance to System and regional teams in a way that promotes the Mission and Core Values of Providence St Joseph Health. The position oversees the assessment, development, deployment, and adoption of programs and initiatives that support organizational improvements in Experience, Delivery, Quality, and Cost. In conjunction with other PSJH leaders, the Program Manager develops efficient strategies and tactics that solve systemic and acute issues, and in doing so, improves operations.

The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes Providence mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.

The position is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and administering multiple equipment lease contracts pertaining to the various key suppliers. This would include working with the contract through all phases until completion (pre-proposal through closeout) with a variety of suppliers. The incumbent performs risk assessments of proposal/contract terms and conditions. They will also be responsible to formulate and execute strategies to minimize potential risks and maximize value and expenditure to the business.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Directing timely and comprehensive negotiation and administration of Capital Equipment Sourcing Lease Agreements.

  • Developing and maintaining information management and reporting systems which support vendor value management programs.

  • Fostering effective utilization of operating and capital funds and providing financial analysis of purchasing and contracting activities.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with ministry and REH leadership to assess program performance with the aim to maximize program, ministry, and organizational efficiency and effectiveness

  • Leads the development, deployment, and adoption of system standards. Ensures, through the use of appropriate metrics and data, that quality standards are measured and that desired results are achieved.

  • Ensure that enterprise sourcing program and resulting contracts operate in accordance with federal and state

  • regulations.

  • Support management of the REH strategic Equipment (minor & capital) plan under the direction of the Sourcing Director, Capital Portfolio

  • Management. Engage in negotiations, monitors contract compliance for equipment and related service contracts.

  • "Communicates with internal stakeholders, including Regional CFOs, Office of Legal Affairs, Treasury and clinical stakeholders to ensure that individual clients needs and company goals are being supported and addressed.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field or equivalent educ/experience

  • 2 years region or enterprise level strategic sourcing experience in a healthcare setting

  • 4 years relevant supply chain experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Lean Six Sigma, Process Improvement or equivalent educ/experience

  • Project Management or equivalent educ/experience

  • 2 years experience with Lease Management or Negotiation
