Providence Health & Services Philanthropic Systems Manager in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Philanthropic Systems Manager to our location in Renton, WA or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Philanthropic Systems Manager to be responsible for managing projects and systems that support Providence Health & Services (PH&S) Philanthropy.
Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Technology and Innovation, the Manager will plan, track, and manage assigned projects, providing the management and coordination required for meeting project objectives and will assist with appropriate engagement of relevant stakeholders.
The Manager will play a supporting role in the evaluation and integration of data unification needs with other systems and programs (e.g., general ledger, data mining/wealth analytics, mobile giving, planned giving websites, etc.) based on PH&S near-term and strategic long-term philanthropic business needs related to the System.
The Manager will provide support for the creation of philanthropic systems related to fundraising programs.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead development, planning, execution, and evaluation of PH&S Philanthropy technology projects.
Determine project resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete projects.
Lead project meetings to communicate project status and identification of issues.
Prepare status reports for leadership and other key stakeholders.
Ensure that project deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.
Provide oversight and guidance to all PH&S Foundations on the management and use of philanthropic systems.
Work closely with key stakeholders (e.g., Foundations, IS, Vendors, Project steering committees, work groups, etc.), to facilitate effective use of legacy philanthropic systems to aid in effective transfer of information to newer platforms.
Provide support to the design and implementation of appropriate training programs for new and existing philanthropic systems users.
Manage the Office of Philanthropy (system office) donor database, including donor file preparedness, segmenting, etc.
Participate in data analysis projects as required.
In consultation with appropriate stakeholders, lead or participate in the development and sharing of policy and procedure documentation.
Conduct systems analysis and recommend actions to improve work flow, simplify operational reporting procedures, and improve performance standards
Attend and participate in PH&S Philanthropy staff, leadership, and council meetings as requested.
Communicate Project status to Senior Director, Technology and Innovation.
Complete special projects and other assignments as required.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience.
5-7 years successful professional experience in a complex fundraising environment, including operational, financial, and strategic expertise.
A significant track record of innovation and success in donor database/fundraising systems and implementation and/or management role.
Professional experience in healthcare philanthropy.
Experience with overseeing analytics, data warehouse, and enterprise reporting technologies such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree a plus.
