Providence Health & Services Executive Director for Learning Development and Administration in Renton, Washington
We are seeking an Executive Director for Learning Development and Administration to partner with other members of the Talent Management and Learning (TM&L) organization to develop and implement programs, products and services to support Providence’s leadership and talent strategies, practices, and initiatives.
In this position you will:
Lead the end-to-end Talent Management and Learning Operations team enabling the design, delivery and optimization of the organization’s programs and offerings. Operations team (32 caregivers) comprised of: learning architects, e-learning designers, trainers, technology consultants and analysts, communications and program evaluation.
In partnership with the Director L&D and Director Talent Development, lead the creation of multi-modal Learning Experiences (comprised of formal and informal, on-the-job, virtual and classroom learning, tools, resources, action learning, mentoring, coaching, assessment etc.). Solutions will support the building of a common culture and a rigorous and consistent set of leadership competencies to enhance Providence’s mission and core values
Lead the Performance and Development team, engaging in the continuous improvement and enhancement of this program to drive a “culture of development” across Providence.
Oversee the LMS, engaging in enhancements to the organization’s purposeful use of the LMS to maximize the learner experience.
Lead the development of a Providence Career Portal, creating a one-stop platform for everything “Career and Development” for all caregivers to have easy access to real-time tools, resources, learning, etc.
Make certain Providence’s leadership programs and delivery modalities are benchmarked and continuously improved against best practices and trends and measured against ROI, success case methods, etc.
Create relationships across TM&L, HR and with key executives and build trust and credibility within the organization.
Required qualifications for this position include:
10 years as a senior-level learning and talent management leader with specialized mastery in leadership development programs, learning curriculum design and delivery, talent management, organization development and performance management.
At least 6 years of experience working in large organizations (50,000 ), recognized for developing leaders.
Experience in designing and implementing innovative system/ region-level learning and talent development programs.
Experience in managing HR Systems in partnership with HRIS to enable key Talent and Learning processes (e.g., LMS, performance and development systems, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across geography and culture.
Ability to measure and articulate key learning outcomes that have bottom-line impact.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s degree in leadership, OD, HR, or related field strongly desired.
