Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Data Integration Architect PSJH to our location in Renton, WA, Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, or Southern CA.
We are seeking for a Data Integration Architech PSJH who will lead the design, engineering, and implementation of integrated data products. The Integration Architect will maintain an enterprise approach to integrated frameworks and define the architecture of such frameworks for re-usability across many use cases. The Integration Architect should remain familiar with incoming projects that should leverage or expand upon these integrated frameworks and guide their implementation. The Integration Architect participates in the build of the frameworks hand in hand with data engineers and should be able to mentor, as needed, to develop a robust skillset among the entire team. The Integration Architect possesses a strong engineering background that contributes to design and development. An emphasis is placed on implementing simple solutions to complex problems through the use of modern and emerging methods and enterprise tools. This position will work closely with the Product, Platform, and Architecture teams to deliver on joint efforts.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Management and oversight of the implementation of integrated data products that span multiple projects and use cases.
Design, build and implement engineering solutions that improve operations and generate value
Participate in DevOps, Agile, and continuous integration frameworks
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, open source projects, and best practices in the field
Data warehousing, big data, enterprise search, business intelligence, analytics, modern and mobile applications.
Build frameworks for enterprise use that are fault-tolerant, self-healing, reliable, resilient and secure.
Work effectively and in real-time with engineers, product owners, and customers to deliver on collective goals.
Actively participate in code reviews, support the overall code base, and support the establishment of standard processes and frameworks.
Take an open and transparent approach to the work by sharing code and expertise, by consulting peers for problem-solving, and by being a mentor to less senior engineers.
Be a recognized subject matter expert in the data engineering and app dev disciplines and build expert-to-expert relationships with similar SMEs across the enterprise.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, MIS or similar field.
More than 10 years in technology roles.
7 years hands on development or engineering experience
3 years healthcare data experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience with Azure and Snowflake.
