Providence Health & Services Contracts Manager, IT Sourcing in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Contracts Manager, IT Sourcing to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Contracts Manager, IT Sourcing to be responsible for preparing, negotiating, and administering multiple contracts pertaining to the various key IT suppliers, such as hardware, infrastructure, software/ applications, cloud computing (Software As A Service/Application Service Provider) and information services. This would include working with the contract through all phases until completion (pre-proposal through closeout) with a variety of suppliers. The incumbent performs risk assessments of proposal/contract terms and conditions. They will also be responsible to formulate and execute strategies to minimize potential risks and maximize value and expenditure to the business.
In this position you will:
Direct timely and comprehensive negotiation and administration of information services software, capital equipment, supplies and services agreements.
Develop and maintain information management and reporting systems which support vendor value management programs;
Foster effective utilization of operating and capital funds and providing financial analysis of purchasing and contracting activities
Support program business area goals and front-end strategic assessments of business pursuits; takes a leadership role in the preparation of responses to solicitations.
Work with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues, secure approvals, and ensure successful contract execution; serves as point of contact for suppliers during all phases of the program.
Ensure adherence to contracts processes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors Degree in a business related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
10 years’ experience in leading contract negotiation, pricing and procurement activities.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Information technology, health care or project management experience.
