Providence Health & Services Contracts Coordinator in Renton, Washington


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Contract Coordinator to our location in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Contract Coordinator who will be responsible for providing a broad range of contract support services for Providence Caregivers and Suppliers. This position will support and administer the implementation of both supply and service contracts and coordinate the contract management lifecycle.

This position will collect all the necessary data and other relevant information to support, review, and evaluate contract terms, including monitoring contract compliance with corporate and departmental policies. This position will be responsible for managing the accuracy of the Contract Management Database and also serve as the content and application contact for this program. This position also includes leading special projects. The Contract Coordinator will be accountable for a high volume of customer inquiry and support; as well as, being able to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining integrity and accuracy of pricing data on supply contracts, including evaluating appropriate contract tier price and validating price interfaced between Contract Management Database and Lawson Materials Management application.

  • Analyze and assist departments with contract related inquiries and information requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner as they relate to contract price, term, legal obligations and renewal and termination provisions.

  • Work closely with the Supplier Management and Sourcing team to scrutinize the Contract Management Database for data accuracy.

  • Develop measurement and/or reporting tools to monitor contract compliance/non-compliance and customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for coordinating and tracking timelines for contracting initiatives and reporting results to various stakeholders.

  • Lead special projects related to strategic department and organization goals and objectives.


Required qualifications for this position include :

  • H.S. Diploma or GED, General Studies.

  • 1 year Minimum of at least one year experience involving office administration, project coordination, or contract development and management.

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Proven experience meeting internal and external deadlines.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with a variety of department personnel and stakeholders at all levels of the organization in a credible and professional manner.

  • Self-starting and independent in managing multiple projects and accountabilities.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent education/experience.

  • Coursework/Training in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Healthcare Administration or equivalent education/experience.

  • 3 years three years experience supporting project management, contract development or supplier management.
