Providence Health & Services Contract Administrator, Sourcing in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Contract Administrator, Sourcing to our Southgate 1 location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Contract Administrator, Sourcing who will support the Medical Surgical (Non Physician Preference) contracting segment of Strategic Sourcing, focusing heavily on managing & maintaining various contract cycle activities. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of and is able to process and summarize complex data sets, using said data to provide direction on contracting strategies with an emphasis on cost effectiveness and operational efficiency
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Ensuring contract expirations are managed and up to date
Research and answer contract related questions for Caregivers in the field, escalating to the Contract Manager(s) and/or Executive Director as needed
Interact with vendors to ensure contract accuracy
Provide support to Contract Manger(s) and Executive Director for larger, more complex projects as needed
Partnering with Value Analysis and Data teams to complete projects that maximize system utilization opportunities
Interact with GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) program leaders as needed
Interact with various internal business and operational stakeholders, including but not limited to – Clinicians, Physicians, and Leadership teams
Review of contracting legal terms and conditions as needed
Required qualifications for this position include:
A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites – with emphasis on Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint; Ability to understand and use/write basic excel formulas, pivot tables& Vlookups
Ability to review, comprehend & summarize complex information and present to a variety of audiences
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience with supporting Project Management; Experience supporting strategic plans for complex initiatives; Supply Chain, business operations and/or finance experience; Experience with strategy development and/or program management
Experience with contract, RFP and vendor relationship management in healthcare setting
Experience with ERP systems Oracle, Lawson and PMM.
