Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Community Technologies Business Development Director PSJH to our location in Renton, WA.

PSJH Community Technologies supports independent hospitals and provider clinics seeking affordable, comprehensive, state-of-the art, proven and supported technology products and services. Along with many other technologies, we are deeply invested in providing a shared medical record via our Epic Connect program. This program is a top PSJH business initiative and is recognized as one of the nation’s strongest, largest and fastest-growing. We seek an experienced, high-integrity and mission-oriented business development leader to guide our team to provide exceptional experiences for our regional leader stakeholders and our future Epic Connect partners in the communities we serve.

We are seeking a Community Technologies Business Development Director to be accountable for maintaining exceptional customer service for clients throughout the business development phase of the client lifecycle. This Director is responsible to support activities leading to a fully executed contract for all Community Technology clients. Activities include introducing the client to the Community Connect Epic offering, managing all team members to assure milestones are met throughout the business develop process, managing communication with client and market/regional leaders and development of cost proposals and contracts. Requires leadership, vision and strategy and is highly focused on customer service. Assumes responsibly support the development and execution of emerging regional strategies to meet the needs of Community Technologies.

Performs all duties in a manner that promotes Providence mission, values, and philosophy. Serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Responsible to represent provisioning program products to support regional sales and marketing strategies.

  • Accountable to facilitate sales growth targets.

  • Maintain strong and effective relationship in support of client business development needs.

  • Manage development/execution of client proposal and contracts and CRF processes and policies.

  • Create visibility for regions and PSMS partners through maintenance of a CRM or other periodic pipeline reports.

  • Manage and support development of client contracts.

  • Lead successful development and ongoing use of CRM tool.

Strategic Planning

  • Responsible to set strategy, vision, goals and priorities for Business Development program elements.

  • Responsible to support the development and maintenance of regional business plans and strategies.

  • Recognizes and supports the development of new or emerging products.

  • Responsible to support definition of emerging-market strategies.

  • Support a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Stay current with industry and technology trends.

Marketing/Communication

  • Collaborate to support execution of the program marketing plan.

  • Promote and support platform strategies i.e. webpage development.

  • Support the development of materials to support clients.

  • Support the development of customer facing document by suggesting and/or writing articles.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Customer Service, Information Technologies/Service or equivalent education/experience.

  • Extensive experience with Epic Implementations and/or Community Connect (Epic).

  • Greater than 10 years in a client services role with progressively increasing responsibility and success.

  • Greater than 10 years in managerial client services/support.

  • Greater than 8 years demonstrated leadership experience in managing and building teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong operational experience that includes data analytics, tracking and reporting and the use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.

  • Ability to travel 50%
