Providence Health & Services Communications Specialist in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Communications Specialist PSJH to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Communications Specialist to execute tasks for assigned projects and activities in support of region-focused marketing, communication and public relations activities. The Communications Specialist focuses on implementing public relations plans, and is dedicated to projects within that region. This role requires competence in all public relations and communication functions that are performed within a region, and knowledge of the strategies, objectives, needs and channels within the region.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Regional priorities will determine the focus area of the role. Focus areas may include:
Perform day-to-day public relations activities.
Serve as a contact for internal and external clients.
Manage projects through the production process.
Write for caregiver communications, blogs, newsletters or PR activities.
Report on project or campaign status.
Conduct market research.
Execute communication plans.
Support and execute community relations activities.
Execute community partnership programs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years of experience public relations in health care environments.
2 years of experience in communication and enterprise public relation strategies in health care companies.
Direct experience in internal communications, public relations, consumer marketing and/or brand development and execution.
Overall business knowledge and Industry experience/knowledge.
