Providence Health & Services Clinical Analytics Project Manager - PSJH in Renton, Washington


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Clinical Analytics Project Manager - PSJH to our location in Renton WA, Portland OR, Missoula MT, or Irvine, CA.

This position is responsible for supporting the Department’s core leaders with the day-to-day logistics of managing larger, highly complex, and critical projects, as well as to manage and lead all assigned projects.

In this position you will:

  • Work directly with Leadership, to coordinate and implement strategic initiatives on a system-wide, regional, ministry and/or departmental basis. This includes working closely with the functional areas, shared services, external customers and/or vendors in helping to define systems/project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing, deliverables, and creating the project charter, communication plans, schedule, budget, and status reports/tracking.

  • Develop, manage and execute project plans (objectives, goals, scope, schedules resources costs, and dependencies) Facilitate issue resolution and ensure that issues are documented, tracked, and resolution is noted. Communicate issues to management, staff, and customers.

  • Provide ongoing support for departmental initiatives and projects. These include, but are not limited to implementation, education, outreach, communication, and measurement.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a health related or business field.

  • (2-5) years of dedicated, project-related work experience.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Intermediate to strong skills and abilities in developing and delivering communications and training.

  • Works independently and manages time effectively as demonstrated by: completing assignments on time and communicating with customers and supervisors regarding prioritization and target completion dates.

  • Excellent program coordination and management skills, including development of schedules, work plans, materials and monitoring processes and deadlines.

  • Intermediate knowledge of project management including integration, scope, time, cost, quality, staffing and software.

  • Proficient in the use of desktop software such as MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Visio, MS Project, and MS Sharepoint (or similar project management tools).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of PCs and basic computer and technology skills (such as videoconferencing, web meetings, setting up for presentations).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in health care, a clinical field, public health, business, or related field.

  • (2-5) years of dedicated, project-related work experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Project management, LEAN, CAP and other change management certifications.

  • Understanding of the facility/environment requirements needed to support and operate IT equipment.
