Providence Health & Services Care Access Supervisor in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Care Access Supervisor to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Care Access Supervisor to administer the daily operations of the Patient Engagement Center Care Access service offering and for ensuring goals and objectives are achieved and maintained, including a high-level of personalized customer service. Care Access includes ‘find a physician’ navigation within a health network, scheduling appointments and classes, and functioning as an entry point and informational resource for patients into the health system. The Supervisor is directly responsible for motivating and developing Care Access Liaisons, and cultivating a positive culture and team environment.
The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes Providence mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Supervises daily operations of the Care Access service offering within the Patient Engagement Center to ensure goals and objectives are achieved and maintained.
Develops and assists the Manager with weekly and monthly dashboards and reporting related to Care Access, and coordinates communication of key performance indicators to the Care Access team; Assists manager with operationalizing action plans for team performance improvement
Coordinates allocation of resources and maintains adequate levels of staffing while adjusting schedules equitably and efficiently to ensure appropriate coverage.
Conducts monthly quality reviews, coaching, and frequent rounding of staff.
Cultivates a strong, positive culture for the Care Access team; Oversees and fosters positive daily interactions among staff and continually motivates and develops individuals.
Develops strong relationships and collaborates with the Manager and other partners across Providence and partners to operationalize new service offerings and scope in line with the changing system strategy.
Assists the Manager with presentations and analyses for use in planning, communication, and management activities. Performs other functionally related duties as requested.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in related fieldAt least 5 years progressively more responsible work experience within a healthcare environment
Experience leading teams to provide extraordinary customer experience and performance excellence
Knowledge of call center operations and best practices
Proven ability to lead and motivate strong, customer-focused teams
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Aptitude for continuous change and department growth and leading change for others
Strong communication and relationship building skills with direct reports, peers, and leadership
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience working in a new or start-up environment with rapidly growing scope and evolving strategy
Experience with scheduling call centers
