Providence Health & Services Associate Project Manager - Physician Services in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Associate Project Manager to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to perform a variety of project coordination activities that support project management activities in Physician Enterprise. The APM will support PM's and/or lead and administer lower complexity strategic projects for the ambulatory division. This position is considered an entry level role to assist a project team. The APM is expected to perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects the Providence St. Joseph Health & Services mission, philosophy, and core values of respect, compassion, justice, excellence, and stewardship.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Design and implement lower complexity projects for the Physician Enterprise to achieve strategic objectives across the system.
May research impacts, costs, benefits, compliance and other factors that affect a project.
Actively demonstrate and encourage positive interpersonal behavior. Manage own time effectively with guidance from PM's and manager on priorities. A successful APM will: completing assignments on time; define and communicate priorities to colleagues; achieve target completion dates.
Work with Clinical Quality and Governance team to define scope and goals for higher complexity projects.
Develop and documents scope, project plan, key stakeholders, communication plans, and risks associated with lower complexity projects. Initially, this work will be done in partnership with leadership and PMs. This position will work with analysts in compiling metrics and data for administration.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of two years of project coordinator experience.
Basic written and oral communication skills.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Basic acquired knowledge of the healthcare business.
Project management experience.
Basic experience in the use of desktop software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
